However, since exactly one year before this article, January 2000, Stephanie had been gradually returning to duties in Monaco. She was back for the Red Cross Ball, for example, as well as for National Day and various kind of engagements, such as raffles and charity auctions. In the streets of Monte-Carlo, she had been seen with her kids and their dads, Daniel Ducruet and Jean-Raymond Gottlieb. Still, she kept her sanctuary in Auron, where she and the kids lived very happily. Close friends reported her saying that her days in Auron with the kids were the best of her life.
